Latitud™ Hip Replacement System

Product Description

The Latitud™ Hip Replacement System is indicated for both total and hemi hip replacement, intended to relieve pain, restore mobility, and improve quality of life. The total hip system is used for non-inflammatory degenerative joint disease, rheumatoid arthritis, congenital hip dysplasia, traumatic fractures of the femoral neck or head, joint stiffness, dislocation, deformities, avascular necrosis, and revision after implant failure. Hemiarthroplasty with Latitud™ is indicated for fractures unsuitable for internal fixation, fracture-dislocation, avascular necrosis of the femoral head, non-union of femoral neck fractures, cervical or trochanteric fractures in elderly patients, or localized damage to the femoral head/neck when the acetabulum remains intact.

The Latitud™ Hip Replacement System is a modular solution for both hemiarthroplasty and total hip arthroplasty, designed to accommodate wide anatomical variability and perse clinical requirements. The cementless femoral stem features a double-taper geometry with Hydroxyapatite coating for enhanced long-term biological fixation, supported by transverse anti-subsidence grooves and longitudinal anti-rotational flutes for secure stabilization within the femoral canal. Multiple stem sizes and neck options enable precise biomechanical restoration tailored to each patient.
The cementless Titanium-coated acetabular cup incorporates anti-rotation locking grooves and an anti-dislocation rim, and is used in combination with highly cross-linked UHMWPE liners to deliver superior wear resistance and joint stability. Acetabular liners are available in standard and 10° elevated-rim versions, allowing surgeons to select the optimal construct. Self-tapping Titanium acetabular screws in multiple sizes support reliable fixation across varied bone qualities.
The system also includes a bipolar head with a high-polish stainless steel outer shell and UHMWPE inner liner to minimize friction, along with modular femoral head options in Cobalt-Chrome, HNSS stainless steel, and BIOLOX® Delta Ceramic, each offered in multiple diameters and offsets. The modularity across stems, heads, cups, and liners enables highly customizable configurations, improving joint stability, anatomical accuracy, and functional recovery for patients.
