VT healthcare Co., Ltd., S.I.S Can Tho International General Hospital, and Haier Biomedical officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly implement the first automated pharmacy dispensing system in Vietnam, marking a significant milestone in the country’s journey toward comprehensive digital transformation in the healthcare sector.

According to the agreement, the three parties will collaborate to deploy the Automation Pharmacy Dispenser (APD) system - a comprehensive automation solution that covers the entire medication dispensing process in hospitals, from prescription verification, dosage selection, and labeling to seamless data synchronization with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
The solution will reduce patient waiting time from several hours to just 15 seconds, minimize human errors, and enhance treatment safety and operational efficiency.
Representatives from VT healthcare and S.I.S Can Tho International General Hospital visited Haier Biomedical’s headquarters in China.
In this cooperation, VT healthcare acts as the coordinator and localization partner, ensuring that Haier Biomedical’s automated system is optimized for Vietnam’s hospital infrastructure and operational practices.
With more than 30 years of experience in the medical equipment industry, VT healthcare is responsible for system design, configuration consulting, staff training, operational transfer, and long-term technical support for the implementing units.
